Arsenal Player Ratings
David Raya – 6
Had a second-half save from Andres Pereira’s one-on-one effort and should have done better for the goal when Jimenez’s effort was limited to a shot from a narrow angle.
William Saliba – 8
Commanded the defense and did well overall, making some nice interceptions and scoring a goal from a close-range shot to tie the game for the ยูฟ่าเบท team.
Jakub Kiwior – 6
Took responsibility for the goal conceded by not being able to get close enough to Jimenez’s corner. After that, although he didn’t make too many mistakes, it was clear that his quality was far from Gabriel’s, especially his aggressiveness in the tackles.
Yurrian Timber – 6
Moved to the left back position again. The left side of the defense did a good job, but today his role and attacking game were not as big as in previous matches. There were hardly any chances to add to the game up high.
Thomas Partey – 6
Almost scored from a corner kick. Back at right-back today, did well in defence but was limited in attack. Could have been more effective if he had moved back into midfield.
Jorginho – 6
Linked the play from the back, tried to find deep passes to Saka on several occasions, but was not very accurate.
Declan Rice – 8
Still reliable with his accurate corner kicks that gave the team another goal. Today he tried to get forward and create good offensive opportunities.
Martin Odegaard – 7
Had a few scares in the first half as he looked to be out injured but he proved to be a key player in attack after that with a fine link-up with Saka on the right.
Bukayo Saka – 6
Did well in the first half, driving the ball forward down the right wing, but his role was reduced in the second half. He had a chance to score late on, but was unfortunately ruled out for offside.
Leandro Trossard – 6
Had some exciting chances to cross the ball on the left wing, but today he didn’t have much of a role in the game. He didn’t have many chances to connect with his teammates, as the left back, Timber, seemed to focus on defense.
Kai Havertz – 6
Today, his role as a forward was not very involved in the attacking game. Today, he did not seem to find space as well as in previous matches, but he did have 1 assist from a header that went to Saliba who charged in.
Substitute
Gabriel Martinelli (replaced Trossard in the 60th minute) – 6
Came on to freshen up the left wing but today he couldn’t seem to win the duel with Tete and didn’t create as many chances for the team as he should have.
Gabriel Jesus (replaced Havertz in the 74th minute) – 5
Missed a golden opportunity in the penalty area and had little impact on the team’s attacking play after that.
Miguel Merino (replaced Jorginho 74′) – 6
Didn’t help the team much in creating attacking play, only passing the ball in midfield.
Ethan Vaneri (replaced Odegaard in the 79th minute) – N/A
